Let the obligatory cheesy introduction post begin…

This blog has been a work in progress for over a year, and I’m excited to finally get the ball rolling! As the tagline suggests, I intend to focus most of my posts around the sporting world, analyzing the normal occurrences as well as the events that aren’t as mundane. My favorite sport is baseball, but I will definitely talk about any sport that sparks a post.

On that note, I will also make an effort to branch out from sports and discuss other topics that interest me on a day-to-day basis. There is so much more to the world than athletics, and I want to show that in my writing.

All that said, my biggest goal with this blog is to provide a different insight into what happens in the world. I am a logical thinker and try to place given events into a wider context, ultimately hoping to piece together an overall pattern in the way that the world works. Whether it is in sports or current events, I enjoy this thought process and will incorporate it frequently into my writing.

I look forward to putting my opinions and analyses into my posts, and I hope everyone that comes across this page enjoys reading my thoughts as much as I will enjoy writing them.

And finally, the inspiration for my blog’s title:

Thank you to all my friends and family who have helped me and encouraged me to finally get my thoughts out in the open. And a special thank you to my girlfriend, Veronica Long, for all the support in starting this project (and for taking advantage of LeBron’s famous quote to create my title). Enjoy!
